Missouri S&T is experiencing significant growth in research and innovation, with research awards increasing by over 80% in the past two years. We are seeking a visionary and dynamic individual to serve as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation (AVCRI).
The AVCRI will play a key role in shaping the future of the Research and Innovation Division at Missouri S&T and fulfill a crucial role within the Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation’s (VCRI) leadership team. The AVCRI will collaboratively develop and support strategic research priorities and implement initiatives to elevate the research and academic stature of Missouri S&T, stimulate economic growth, and cultivate a culture of innovation and discovery.
The Associate Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation will be instrumental in advancing the institution's research and innovation initiatives.
The successful applicant will be an accomplished researcher with a proven track record of fostering growth and development within the research enterprise. This is a full-time administrative position. Subject to departmental recommendation, the appointment includes a tenured faculty position at the appropriate rank within a relevant academic department.
