Merry Christmas! And Happy Friday on Thursday!

What a year this was for all of us in higher education! 

But let’s talk about the season. The season in which joy is not only found but also made, together with gratitude that is deeply felt. A season of festive gatherings as well as quiet moments of reflection.

To all our dedicated students, distinguished colleagues and dear friends, to all that reached out and connected, to all that touched our lives and all the lives that we touched, I say thank you for your grace, guidance, gratitude, aspirations and inspirations.

Wishing you a Christmas with a peaceful mind, with feelings of family regardless of separation of time or place and a deep sense of connection with those you hold dear.

And I wish you a new year with peace that outshines wars, logic that trumps perverse logic, and peace that abides and never fades.
