Candidate visits
A number of candidates were invited to Rolla to participate in a second round of interviews and conversations with members of the Chancellor Search Committee, Interim President Owens and Vice President for Human Resources Betsy Rodriguez.
After a successful round of visits, there was further reduction of the candidate pool. Candidates continue to be very interested in the chancellor position at Missouri S&T. The system president will make the appointment of the Missouri S&T chancellor. Therefore, the candidates have been asked to wait about three to five weeks. An update will be provided to these candidates after the new UM System President is named.
The confidentiality of this search continues to be an extremely important factor in its final outcome.
